Today:

Apples
(The fruit of our labor yesterday)

and ice cream.
Daisy really wanted Chris' ice cream.

Don't worry - he didn't let her have any.
But I love her little foot, raised in the air. She used her whole body to try to get that ice cream in her mouth!

Then, Caleb flew up the hill.
His arms stretched back like that help him fly.
Clearly.

Both boys flew up the hill.

Then...
On your mark,
get set,
GO!

and they ran down the hill.

Chris' serious expression is a fluke. He was actually trying to mimic Caleb's "running down the hill" noise. He did pretty well.

Daisy went to the doctor today for her four-month checkup.
At four and a half months old, she:
weighs 12 pounds, 12.6 ounces (19th percentile)
is 26.75 inches long (98th percentile)
has a head circumference of 17 inches (90th percentile)

Yep.
She's kind of skinny, especially when you consider that the rest of her is at the top of the charts. Even our doctor was a bit alarmed at how little she weighs compared to her length, but she said that we're technically supposed to look at each one in isolation. She is a healthy (but small) weight, and a healthy (but big) length. Which means... she's healthy. She's hitting all of her milestones, she's happy, and she's super cute. So that's that. One healthy baby (with a slight cold. Poor thing.).
