It rained this morning.
Oh, how it rained!
It only mattered because it was a school day for Caleb. It was also his turn to bring in our homemade Play-doh. It was also canned food drive time at school.
So this morning, as I ushered a rain coat and rain boot clad Caleb and Daisy through the parking lot, I also carried Lily, an umbrella, Caleb's backpack full of Play-doh, and a bag of food. In the pouring, gushing, torrential rain.
It was ridiculous.
Later (after we had all dried off and recovered), Lily tried the Bumbo chair for the first time.
Don't let the girl fool you. She was totally not ready.
"What are you talking about, Mom? I am absolutely ready for this chair!"
... said the girl as she struggled to control her head as it rolled about and leaned forward and back.
She was exhausted after just a minute or two. We'll keep practicing, Lily!
