November 10

Gah. Daisy and Caleb were such terrors this evening that I'm still reeling. It's hard to reflect on the day when the evening was so terrible! And now Lily is crying and Caleb is talking in bed and Lord knows what Daisy is doing but I'd bet just about anything that it's not sleeping. So I'm just going to dump pictures and be done. This day needs to be over.

What, that? That's just Caleb in a baseball cap with a turkey head and tail. Perhaps it was handmade by Chris' grandma? Oh, and a superhero mask. Because why not?

Happy girl in the bathtub. Can you see her cherry hemangioma? It's getting bigger, but our doctor told us that would happen. No big deal.

And that? That's a runny-nosed Daisy, wearing Lily's size 3-6 month sweater, climbing into a reusable shopping bag. Daisy put the sweater on when she was supposed to be napping today. Perhaps that's why she was so horrible tonight: she was tired from putting on her baby sister's clothes during nap time instead of sleeping.

Lily bouncing on Daddy's knee.

Thank GOD tomorrow is a bank holiday.

  1. Your "awful" day made me chuckle. I remember having days like that sometimes - with 3 children under 3 years old. That was many years ago. But hopefully, you guys will all have a great day today. :-)
