He's obsessed with baseball.
STILL talking about Busch Stadium. And Fredbird. And Yadi. And Albert.
And because he has no concept of time? It's always "yesterday". As in, "Yesterday Busch Stadium! Saw Fredbird! Home run!"
He already knows all the baseball terminology, and will randomly shout:
You're out!
Safe!
Baseball fans!
Strike one! Strike two! (Somehow he never gets to three...)
Home run!
Pop up!
Foul ball!
Nice hit!
Now, he's working on his swing.
The T-ball stand was an Easter gift, and he loves it!
I'm sorry, but how sweet is this? Doesn't it remind you of the Little League "baseball cards" that little boys get? I'm so looking forward to that. I'll be the sucker parent that buys the super-platinum package of photos. Just wait.
Dear Lord, please let him continue to love baseball and not football or hockey or NASCAR. Amen.
Carrie, I've already been whispering in Noa's ear about which sports are okay to like. Baseball, football, and swimming are good. Soccer is okay, mainly because it's what Jon's family likes. Hockey is okay, but expensive. Please, no basketball or golf.
ReplyDeleteCaleb is so cute in these shots. Maybe our boys will play Little League together someday.
