Today was a glorious do-nothing Monday, and it looks like tomorrow might be a do-nothing Tuesday, too!
Eli and I got to take a short nap while Daisy and Lily slept. When Lily woke up, she immediately demanded to see her baby. She didn't care that he was sleeping. Since it was almost time for me to wrap Eli up to go get Caleb off the bus, I gave the girl what she wanted.
Lily: (squealing with delight) BAY-BEEEE!
Me: Shhhh! Baby is sleeping! Don't wake him up!
Lily: Han'. Bay-bee han'.
Me: Oh, isn't that sweet. You're holding Eli's hand. But don't wake him up! Give him some space!
Lily: (baby-dinosaur shriek of delight)
Eli: (stirs, cries)
Lily: Cheeeeee!
Eli: (stirs)
Why can't those people just let me sleep?
