January 11

What a glorious, lazy Saturday we had!
I'm still feeling a little yucky, but much better than yesterday. I was able to get out of bed and function, so that's a good thing!

I tried this recipe for Baked Salmon with Blackberry Ginger Glaze for dinner tonight and we all loved it. That's only a blog-worthy fact because normally Caleb and Daisy will not eat dinner. They'll eat a thank-you bite, but no more. Caleb has actually informed me before that he only eats dinner on (gluten-free) pizza nights and meatball nights. But he gobbled this stuff up! It was a true victory, made even better by the fact that Dierbergs has blackberries on sale right now.

See? That's Caleb devouring the last of his dinner. He even has blackberry glaze on his nose.

Goodness. Isn't this girl perfect? We are so blessed.

After dinner (and after blackberry-sticky hands were washed), Chris and the kids played the piano.
Even Lily got a turn. She loved pressing the keys and hearing the noises they made!

Sweet girl.

Chris and I just started a 30-day plank challenge. Today we had to plank for 30 seconds, and Caleb and Daisy were quite curious about what Mommy and Daddy were doing. When Chris decided to go for another 30 seconds, Caleb eagerly joined in.

And now, Chris and I are debating whether to go to church tomorrow. It's sad when sending our kids to Children's Church means inviting sickness into our home. I'm not sure what we'll do.
