Happy Easter!
We did most of our celebrating yesterday, and Chris and I ended up serving in childcare at church today, so it didn't feel much like Easter today. In fact, I didn't take a single family picture today. Considering how carefully I have coordinated everyone's outfits in previous years, it's kind of shocking that I didn't manage a family picture at all this year.
Oh, well.

I love quiet days, when all the stores are closed, so all you can do is hang out and snuggle and read and nap.

Caleb even shared his Legos with Eli!

Eli is very serious about his Lego-ing.

Wild hair, too-short tie. I love this boy.

Then we decided to see if Caleb's old bike was the right size for Lily. We gave it to Caleb on his fourth birthday, and since Lily will be four in just a few months, it made sense. Chris lowered the seat, re-attached the training wheels, and off they went!

The bike was just a bit big, but Lily soldiered through. She was so excited about it!

Look at that big girl!

She's a cutie pie.

Then the kids opened their special Easter bags from Grandmother.

Gayle remembered how much the girls liked my mom's Christmas nesting dolls, and got the girls nesting Easter bunnies. They were so excited!

Caleb got a new Lego set, and was really, really excited. Can't you tell?

Then our neighbors came over and invited us to join their annual family Easter egg hunt in their back yard. It is so kind of them to include us!

Even better, Mary and Terry fill their eggs with loose coins, instead of candy. Goodness knows we have enough candy in this house!
