It is much too late, so this will be brief.
My mom is home! She's been gone for nearly two weeks, taking care of her sister after a surgery. The kids were so very excited to have Grandma back that I persuaded my dad to stop by after picking her up at the airport. It was a last-minute feast, but Jenny was able to stop by after work, too. We had real pancakes and bacon for dinner, and everyone was happy.
Mom showed the kids pictures and videos from her trip, and they were so interested and loving and sweet.
They got to bed much too late, and we have a full day tomorrow, but it was totally worth it.
