This makes my heart happy.
Caleb and I were visiting with my mom when Ryan came home from school. Ryan didn't do any of the normal 13-year-old boy things; instead, he sat down to read with Caleb.
The moment was so sweet, I didn't want to interrupt it with my camera. (I was squished in on Ryan's left side, to the right of this picture. ) But after Ryan read two books, and gave an encore reading of one, I decided it would be OK.
I don't have much else to say, except perhaps a contented sigh.
I just love your mom's face. She looks to content but so proud at the same time. So sweet!
