Today we celebrated Caleb's birthday with all of our friends and family. It was so much fun!
Caleb loved all of the attention, and LOVED his first cupcake.
He was so good today!
Chris' Dad and Grandad came out for the party. I love this 4-generation photo, especially because it's four generations of first-born sons. How fun!
Chris' sister, Grace, and her husband, Adam, even came up from Texas for Caleb's party!
There were so many other people who helped us celebrate, but I'm way too tired to put all of their photos on the blog. We were so thankful and so appreciative that everyone came out to celebrate with us. We feel so blessed that so many people love our baby so much.
Yesterday I was feeling so sentimental while writing the blog that I forgot to give the montly update, so here it is now.
At one year old, Caleb:
weighs 20 pounds, 5 ounces
sleeps from 8:00-5:30 am (though lately, he's been sleeping in until 7:30!)
is working to drop his afternoon nap, and usually sleeps 2-3 hours in the late morning
nurses twice a day, and gets a bottle of milk at bedtime
finally pulls up, gets up on all fours, and can get from his tummy to a seated position
loves to stand while leaning on something, and is learning to cruise
LOVES to read. Favorite books are "Hello Fredbird", "My Sparkly Funtime Book", "I Can Sign", and "Cuddles the Cow"
Eats mostly finger foods. His favorites are yogurt, fruit, cheese, meat, ravioli, goldfish crackers, and Mommy's milk.
