This makes my heart happy:

Sara and Cooper came by this morning, and Caleb and Cooper spent some quality time playing together. It's funny how different the dynamics are when Caleb and Cooper play, versus Caleb and the other Caleb. (I only compare because all three boys are almost exactly the same age: Cooper was born July 8, our Caleb July 9, and the other Caleb July 11.) When the two Calebs get together, they don't even say hello. They immediately start chasing each other, pouncing and romping like puppies. But Caleb and Cooper have conversations, and play cooperatively, and play... differently.

Like this. The boys were swinging together, but then Cooper got down and began pushing Caleb on his swing. The whole time, Cooper coached Caleb, trying to get him to pump his legs. And even though Caleb refuses to cooperate when I try to get him to pump his legs, you can tell by the look on his face that he was really trying for Cooper. It was the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time, especially because Cooper is just learning how to pump his own legs.

Also, Sara and I got to sit and watch while the children entertained themselves. Priceless stuff.

  1. So fun to watch their personalities, I'm sure. How cute that Cooper is passing on his knowledge:)
