Happy Birthday, Grandmother!
Though she doesn't look a day over 40, Chris' mom turned 62 today. She and Chris' dad came out to celebrate with us, and we did it in high fashion - lunch at IHOP and an afternoon at the neighborhood pool.
In case you missed yesterday's post, we are the classiest people around.
The IHOP people brought Gayle a birthday chocolate-chip pancake, and Dan (ever the doting Grandad) snuck Caleb a few bites.
I think he won Caleb's everlasting affection.
We all had a great time at the pool, too. Caleb had so much fun showing his grandparents what a good swimmer he is!
(Yes, Caleb is wearing my oversized sunglasses. He's quite the fashionista.)
