Somebody turns 8 tomorrow.

I took Caleb out for his last pictures as a 7 year old. 

This was his idea. 

Can you believe he's almost 8? Those two front teeth are about to fall out any moment now, and then he will be a toothless 8 year old.

Once the kids were in bed, I got baking.

He requested a chocolate cake with caramel filling. I made an 8-layer cake with homemade caramel sauce and caramel buttercream. It was a lot of work, so he'd better like it!
