It was a lazy, beautiful Sunday here.
My mom knows that I am feeling really depressed about the state of our back yard after the tree demolished our swing set and the tree people took away all the shade and destroyed the grass in the process. Her love language is planting flowers, so she showed up today with a trunk full of soil and flowers and got to work creating this little patch of beauty to brighten my spirits. I am so lucky to have her.
We picked up a premade meal at Costco this afternoon, so dinner was easy peasy at the pool
Before we left, Chris and Caleb had a swimming race.
Summer is my favorite.
