ROAD TRIP!
Chris went in to work for a few hours, but came home around 11:30. We hopped into the van, picked the kids up from VBS, and hit the road to visit my family in Iowa.

Our first stop was to pick up my mom. Road trips with Mom in the back are way better than road trips without! She entertained the kids so that I could read and snooze while Chris drove.
At our hotel! We stopped to have dinner with my Grandma and visit with her, then checked into our hotel where my mom's son Tim and his son Isaac met up with us. Chris graciously put the kids to bed and stayed with them so that Mom and I could visit with Tim and Isaac in the lobby. Then to bed!
