Today was a great day for Caleb.
First he hopped in the stroller for a run with Daddy.
Then he climbed into the BOB for a walk with Mommy and Daisy.
Then he ate blueberry pancakes.
When he woke up from his nap, the Cardinals were on TV.
Of course my boys had to watch the game.
But Caleb couldn't sit still very long. After an inning or so, he climbed down from Chris' lap and started looking around for his yellow bat.
He watched the game and practiced swinging his bat.
(He was even wearing his "Home Run King" onesie!)
Later, we visited our neighborhood pool for the first time this season.
When we arrived, it was safety check time. Caleb waited patiently in the stroller until the lifeguards blew the whistle.
We had lots of fun splashing in the water.
(I wish I could figure out the secret to photographing people in water on sunny days. Anyone have tips for me?)
Of course Daisy came with us to the pool. I wore her in my water wrap, but kept her dry the whole time.
Did you know that she's one month old today?
She's lost a lot of her hair in the past month!
When I took her out of the water wrap, she gave a big stretch!
Chris wondered aloud today if it's ok to call her "Big Girl".
I say yes.
He's not so sure.
At one month, Daisy:
weighs 8 pounds, 11 ounces
is 21.5 inches long
sleeps one 5-6 hour stretch at night
nurses every 2-3 hours aside from that
grunts, sighs, and coos a lot
makes a great spitting noise when she's really mad about something
but rarely cries
except for baths, which she hates
likes to wriggle her arms free of her swaddle
loves going for rides in the BOB
doesn't mind her big brother's kisses and snuggles at all
She's an easy, laid-back baby. We're so blessed to have her!
