Update: I added photos from the big camera. Scroll down to see them.
Somehow I forgot to pack green clothes for Caleb and Daisy to wear on St. Patrick's Day, but we had fun anyway.
We visited a fun indoor playground. We splurged - thanks to Grandma - and even let the kids ride the machines. They were so excited!
The airplane was their favorite.
Lily was too small to play, but she didn't mind.
See? Fun!
She had her first grape today! (Don't worry, Mom! It was cut up!)
Hi, sweet girl!
And here are my pictures from the big camera:
Lily eating a clementine.
Hi Grace! Hi Daisy! Hi Chris! (Caleb was off exploring on his own.)
We splurged and let the kids ride the rides. The teacup ride had one extra seat, and - much to his mom's embarrassment - this random boy jumped up into it as the ride started going.
Fun!
Then they "drove" the car.
But the best was "flying" the airplane!
I picked up some flowers for Grace, and snapped this photo of her arranging them. She used to work in a floral department while she was in college!
Adam left work a little bit early, so we all headed to the park.
Of course, I was eager to wear Lily in the new wrap. I think we're getting the hang of it!
Aren't Adam and Grace cute?
(though Grace might be the prettier of the two...)
They brought their doggie Mimi along for the walk, and let me take a few photos of their family.
I think Mimi is quite photogenic!
She's an adventurous pup, too!
Daisy fell and scraped her hand, and babied it the rest of the trip. Do you see how she's holding it like it's immobile?
Even while sliding, that hand was in the air!
Goodness - isn't my husbando handsome?
Adam and Daisy had such fun!
And Caleb, Grace, and Mimi did some exploring.
I love this brother and sister!
And of course, a nice photo for their mother!
Then Grace took her sweatshirt and turned into a "troll" who lived under the bridge.
How is she still so lovely, even when pretending to be a troll?
This was the troll's home.
Daisy found a special rock to share with Adam.
She's practicing pumping her legs.
I love this one!
I think the stick was his light saber.
Chris took this one, and the next. He has such an eye for portraits!
My swinging girl!
As we walked home, Grace noticed that Lily had fallen asleep, but was still clutching her sun hat.
We adjusted her so that she was a little more comfortable.
Daisy got a ride home.
But the rest of us had to walk.
After dinner, we cleaned up while Chris got the kids ready for a bath. He knew that a soft, squishy, naked baby was too good to pass up, though, and brought Lily out for snuggles with Grace. Lily - who still had a carrot from dinner in her mouth - was delighted to be snuggled!
Squishy baby!
We were so glad Grace got to kiss on our little girl!
Aw, such great times. Thank you Carrie, for the sweet captions :)
