This evening we visited with Chris' Grandad and his lovely wife, our "BG" (Bonus Grandma). Since the kids last saw Grandad at Daisy's birthday party, he has stopped receiving radiation for his lung cancer. Though he's now in hospice care, Grandad is as handsome, funny, and upbeat as ever. I'm pretty sure BG's loving care has a lot to do with that.
What a beautiful, happy bunch.
I'm so thankful BG invited the kids to come visit, too. I pray that little moments like this will add up to memories that last a lifetime for our kiddos.
After our visit, we stopped for some dinner.
After dinner, ice cream.
After ice cream, messy, messy children.
