Caleb was unusually fussy today.

This photo makes all of the rocking and nursing and singing and tickling and bouncing and silly noises worth it.

November 9

We had another BUSY day yesterday, so I only managed to take a few photos.

This one was one of my favorites, just because Caleb is reaching for the camera for the first time.
Chris thought Caleb looked scared, but I think he's intently studying the camera as he reaches out to touch it.
We have a curious little man on our hands!

More naked baby. Irresistible, right?

I love that he has started clasping his feet together like this. How cute!

November 7

Remember how Caleb discovered his feet the other day?

He. Loves. Them.

Chris thought it was gross that Caleb was chewing on his socks, until I reminded him that Caleb is a baby and his socks don't get dirty, really. Then he just thought it was hilarious.

November 6

Today we discovered Caleb's plastic rings.

This one just makes me laugh.

We had a busy day today. Between 9 am and 9pm, we had a grand total of two and a half hours at home. In those two and a half hours, Caleb managed to discover his feet, nearly roll over from his back to his tummy, and take this hilarious photo.

It was a good day.

November 4

Caleb had fun rolling around on his blanket today.

He liked looking at me (and the camera) upside down.

November 3

When we were pregnant and didn't know whether we had a boy or a girl, we called the baby "Rambo". It was a great joke, especially because my students never really figured out whether I was serious or not.

Our wonderful friends, Chris and Amber Del Gaiso, made this fantastic Rambo onesie in honor of that joke. We have pictures of newborn Caleb sleeping next to the onesie, but now it finally fits him.

Things I love about this photo (besides the awesome onesie):
1. He's sitting up on his own, with just a little help from the Boppy.
2. That serious, "I dare you to cross me" look in his eye.
3. He's wearing blue pants with the yellow onesie as a shout-out to Chris Del Gaiso (Let's go Blues!).

November 2

Chris tried to put socks on Caleb.

Though he's done this at least a hundred times, you can tell from his expression (and Caleb's) that it didn't go very well.

November 1

This is a tired Caleb, right before his nap.

I'm a little nervous about how Daylight Savings Time will affect him...
